About Me
Lena Korkea-aho
founder of LumoconI am a sustainability multitalent with a background in natural sciences and 20 years of broad international experience in environmental consulting and sustainable finance. I understand both the science behind environmental challenges as well as the business and finance approach to sustainability.
My experience includes both environmental management in practice and strategic sustainability leadership. I have assessed environmental impacts of many sectors and audited hundreds of manufacturing plants from an EHS perspective. Strategic work experience includes environmental impact and liability management and setting sustainability targets. I have also developed standards for green and sustainability-linked financing.
I have a holistic view and pragmatic hands-on attitude with a drive to find solutions to challenges. My vision is to connect sustainability, business and finance in a smart way. I want to help my clients “walk the talk”, as concrete actions are the only way to achieve impact in the real world.
